This is my first skin for kewlpÄd and also my first skin which I have completely designed on my own.
I decided to try to skin kewlpad because it looked somewhat easy to do and it's an application I use regularly. I like how it turned out. I had to do a few trials to get the logo on the top left right. I ended up just pasting the one from the icon, resizing it and retracing it with the path tool, and then reshading it properly. Slicing also gave me somewhat of a trouble. . . I'm not used to doing that even for webpages, and I had to restart a few times 'cause it looked messed up. In the end I'm very pleased with how it turned out, and really proud of it too ^^. I might do a port for rainlendar sometime soon. |

i mean, i've already got the theme set up and the wallpaper...but i'm having trouble applying the icons and the tackbar customizations

You'll also need to get a patch for your windows to make it work. Get that here: [link]
The icons can by found at [link] They were made for XP so they don't go up to all the sizes used by Vista. You'll need a program to be able to apply them to your computer. The one I use is Icon Tweaker [link]
Apart from this, I can't really help you much, since I personally use windows XP.
