Marle 2

When I saw this contest, I really wanted to participate because I love doing redos, but I don't actually have a lot of older fan dolls. After searching on my site, I found one I had made in 2006 of Marle, from Chronotrigger [link] I never really liked her so much, and the hair was really badly done. It's kind of strange though, because usually when I do redos I dig into much older stuff (like 2003 and earlier)

Anyways, I'm really pleased with how this version came out. I decided to go with an base, since it's the same basemaker that did the base I originally used. This one has a head that's much easier to work with, so the hair actually looks good!

I also added her crossbow, which wasn't there in my first attempt, and a few other details that I had missed at first. The palettes were pretty much kept the same except for the colour of the suit which I desaturated a little, while still keeping the turquoise hue that was inspired by the game sprite.
